DeTechtive was founded to bridge the gap between high-end digital forensics and the people who need them most. We build open tools, conduct vendor-independent research, and deliver emergency containment services directly to civil society operators.
Founder Story
DeTechtive was founded by Harish Kumaravel, a cybersecurity researcher focused on mobile operating systems and spyware reverse engineering. After witnessing the escalating deployment of zero-click exploits against journalists and legal advocates, Harish established DeTechtive as a dedicated structure to support civil society with professional-grade Android forensics. Our team operates with strict independence, refusing commercial contracts with state surveillance operators.
